- AutoComm, Inc. is a third party inspection agency that provides a wide variety of services to the automotive and transportation industries. Such services include inspections, data collection, data warehousing, data transmissions, claims handling, damage appraisals, as well as comprehensive reporting for damage prevention analysis.
- AutoComm has been providing these services since 1986 and currently has approximately 50 locations throughout North America. All locations have internet and FTP capabilities, which enable timely data transmissions. Most AutoComm locations are equipped with digital cameras that allow for high resolution images to be transmitted and stored with inspection data to facilitate claims processing.
- The principal management locations are in Lathrup Village, MI , Jacksonville, FL and Memphis, TN with the corporate headquarters located in Sedona, AZ. In 2001, AutoComm performed over 7 million inspections and processed more than 21 million inspection records. AutoComm's computer center, located in Lathrup Village, MI, just outside of Detroit, utilizes the latest technology in hardware and software. Powerful servers and a customized Oracle database allow for data to be queried within minutes, giving customers immediate access to the information they need, when they need it.
- AutoComm specializes in automobile and dry freight inspections, customized reporting, and pro-active data analysis. Current customers include automotive manufacturers, transportation companies, insurance companies, car rental agencies and vehicle leasers.
